Blessing Offor from "The Voice" is one of top 48 artists in Season 7 of the NBC reality singing competition series. From Brooklyn, New York, he is on Pharrell Williams' team. Blessing sang "Just the Two of Us" by Grover Washington Jr. & Bill Withers for his blind audition. After all four judges turned their chairs around, Blessing chose Pharrell to be his coach. Blessing was previously the second contestant eliminated in the Bravo reality songwriting competition series "Platinum Hit."

"The Voice"

Blessing Offor originally hails from Nigeria and is the youngest of six children. He was born with complete vision loss in one eye and very limited vision in his right eye. At the age of six, he joined his uncle in America with the hope of receiving medical treatment, but due to complications, Blessing ended up completely losing his vision. Blessing turned to music and is now a full-time singer and songwriter. He wants to prove that one can achieve one's dreams despite adversity. 

"Platinum Hit"

Blessing writes pop, R&B and soul songs, drawing his inspiration from anything from Motown, jazz and pop. Offor would like to write a songs for John Legend, Cee Lo Green, Bruno Mars, Brian McKnight, Justin Timberlake, Jonny Lang, John Mayer, Beyonce, Jennifer Hudson and Alicia Keys

After losing his eyesight at around nine years old, Blessing ran to music as a refuge. He learned to play piano and began writing music. Even at a young age, Offer already had several accomplishments that would make even the most veteran of musicians jealous, having opened for the Temptations and Tower of Power. Never letting his disability affect him, Offer has risen to every challenge in life and looks forward to doing the same throughout this competition.
