Brandon Wynn is a gymnast competing at the 2012 London Summer Olympics for the USA. He is the 2010 U.S. bronze medalist, a two-time U.S. rings champion, and a two-time NCAA rings champion.

Unable to match his all-around bronze from 2010, Brandon Wynn was not named to the 2011 World Team despite winning his signature event, rings, at Nationals. Ninth overall, Wynn was named to the Pan-American Games team. In Guadalajara, the U.S. men finished third and Wynn picked up an individual gold on rings.

Wynn is a 2011 graduate of Ohio State University with a degree in finance. During his four years of collegiate gymnastics, he earned two NCAA titles on rings.

Wynn surprised many at the VISA Championships. The rings specialist not only won that national title on that event, but also finished third in the all-around competition. He qualified for his first World Team where the U.S. men finished just off the podium in fourth.

His nickname "Lord of the Rings" certainly ... rings true. Wynn won the 2010 U.S. title on the apparatus and has won two NCAA titles on the event. Don't let the bulging muscles fool you though — "I've never lifted weights," Wynn told the Columbus Dispatch. His strength on the event comes from practicing the apparatus, sometimes with a 30-pound weight vest. While his expertise on the event is evident, his contributions as an all-arounder will also be a large factor in Wynn qualifying for his first Olympics Team in 2012.

The Voorhees, New Jersey, native began gymnastics at age seven, drawn by the excitement of the sport.
