Campbell Scott stars in FX's legal thriller "Damages." Campbell Scott joined the cast as series regular in Season 3. Campbell Scott has appeared in over two dozen feature films including "Music and Lyrics" with Hugh Grant and Drew Barrymore, "The Exorcism of Emily Rose," "The Dying Gaul," "Duma," "St. Ralph," "Dying Young," "The Impostors," "The Daytrippers," "The Spanish Prisoner," " The Secret Lives of Dentists," "Mrs. Parker and the Vicious Circle," "Singles," "Dead Again," "The Sheltering Sky" and "Big Night," which he co-directed with Stanley Tucci. Although he has had an extensive film career, Campbell Scott is no stranger to television - he was in the Showtime production of "Sweeney Todd," the Hallmark telefilms "Follow the Stars Home" and "The Love Letter," Odyssey's "Hamlet," and ABC's production "The Kennedys of Massachusetts." Campbell Scott was also in the short-lived ABC series, "Six Degrees." Additionally Campbell Scott has had the opportunity to perform in many theatre productions. On Broadway Campbell Scott appeared in "Long Day's Journey Into Night," "Ah! Wilderness," "Hay Fever" and "The Real Thing." Off-Broadway performances include "Pericles" at the New York Shakespeare Festival, "Measure for Measure" at Lincoln Center, Roundabout's "A Man for All Seasons," and "On the Bum" at Playwrights Horizons. He can add to this long list of stage work regional productions of "Design for Living'" "Dead End," "Miss Julie," "Hamlet," "Othello," "School for Wives," "Gillette," "Romeo and Juliet" and "Our Town." Campbell Scott's efforts extend behind-the scenes as well. Campbell Scott has directed the plays "Recruiting Officer," "SnakeBit" and "Miss Julie." In addition to co-directing "Big Night" and the TV production "Hamlet," Campbell Scott directed the films "Final," starring Hope Davis and Denis Leary, and "Off the Map," starring Joan Allen and Sam Elliott. Campbell Scott resides in New York and has one child.
