Carlo Rota stars opposite Cynthia Nixon in Starz' epic miniseries "World Without End," based upon the global bestseller by Ken Follett, as Edmund.

Carlo Rota has quickly become one of Hollywood's most sought-after imports. A citizen of the world, Carlo Rota was born in London and grew up in Italy, Hong Kong, the Bahamas and Canada.

He is best known to American audiences as Morris O'Brian from FOX's smash hit series "24," a role created for him by executive producer Joel Surnow, who had previously created the role of Mick Schtoppel for Rota on the USA Network show "La Femme Nikita" which ran for five seasons.

Rota also played the Lebanese-Canadian construction contractor Yasir Hamoudi in the critically acclaimed CBC sitcom "Little Mosque on the Prairie" for five seasons. His other television credits include Showtime's "Queer as Folk" and the telefilm "Othello," for which he was nominated for a Gemini award.
