For the past six seasons Cedric Yarbrough has delighted comedy fans as Deputy S. Jones aka Jonesy on Comedy Central's "Reno 911!" Two years ago, the show made its big screen debut in "Reno 911!: Miami," for 20th Century Fox.

Cedric will next be seen in "Black Dynamite," a comedy spoof of the 1970s Blacksploitation movies. The film, which premiered at the 2009 Sundance Film Festival, was bought by Sony with parent company Columbia distributing, follows Black Dynamite, the only hero in the ghetto who can fight The Man. Cedric plays "Chocolate Giddy-Up," a neighborhood pimp who tries to keep his "business" going after Black Dynamite threatens to take them down. A release date for the movie has not yet been set.

Most recently, Cedric appeared in Warner Bros film, "Get Smart" opposite Anne Hathaway and Steve Carrell and New Line Film's comedy "Four Christmases" with Reese Witherspoon and Vince Vaughn.

Cedric was last seen in Cart Horse Film's comedy "Entry Level" about a group of un-hirable, unskilled misfits who struggle to break into the corporate world and another independent comedy, "Closing Escrow," about three families trying to close on the same house. In addition, Cedric had a cameo in Paramount Pictures' schoolyard comedy "Drillbit Taylor," where some children hire a bodyguard to protect them from the local bully.

Yarbrough also voices several characters, including Tom DuBois – a straight- laced District Attorney and neighbor to the Freemans, in "The Boondocks," the animated comedy series, based on Aaron McGruder's award-winning comic strip of the same name, from Sony Pictures Television for Cartoon Network's "Adult Swim."

A native of Minneapolis, MN, where he graduated from Minnesota State University, Yarbrough received his improv/sketch comedy background from "Dudley Riggs' Brave New Workshop."

Yarbrough in guest star appearances on "Arrested Development" (FOX), "The Bernie Mac Show" (FOX), and the blockbuster hit, "Meet the Fockers!" (Universal). His additional credit include guest star appearances on Andy Richter Controls the Universe" (FOX), "Cedric the Entertainer Presents" (FOX), and "The Parkers" (UPN). Last year he appeared in Universal Pictures' "The 40-Year-Old Virgin".

Yarbrough's repertoire is not only limited to film and television. He appeared in The Pasadena Playhouse's production of "Blue;" "Sweeney Todd", "Pippin" for the Ted Paul Theater; "Julius Caesar" and "Antony & Cleopatra" for Shakespeare & Company; and "Edufa" and "A Chorus Line" for Theater Phoenix.
