Charles Esten, who is sometimes credited as Chip Esten, stars in HBO's "Enlightened," as Damon, and Disney Channel's "Jessie" in the recurring role of Morgan Ross.

Raised in Virginia, Charles Esten moved to the United Kingdom to make his theatrical debut in the musical "Buddy," for which he garnered considerable critical praise. The producers of the original UK edition of "Whose Line Is It Anyway?" took notice and cast him on the improvisational sketch comedy series. From there, he became a series regular on FOX's "The Crew" and CBS's "The Brian Benben Show." Esten is perhaps best known though for participating in the American version of "Whose Line Is It Anyway?" opposite Drew Carey. Esten was also seen in GSN's "Drew Carey's Improv-A-Ganza."

Esten has also recurred on "Party of Five," as Luke, "The Office," as Josh Porter, the regional manager of Dunder Mifflin's Stamford branch, "ER," as Dr. Barry Grossman, and "Big Love," as Ray Henry. Recent guest appearances have included "Enlightened," "Wilfred," "NCIS: Los Angeles," "The Mentalist," "The New Adventures of Old Christine," "Cold Case" and "NYPD Blue."

Esten currently lives in Los Angeles with his wife and three children.
