Charlotte Riley stars opposite Cynthia Nixon in Starz' epic miniseries "World Without End," based upon the global bestseller by Ken Follett, as Caris.

British actress Charlotte Riley made her feature film debut as Sarah in Stephan Elliott's "Easy Virtue," starring Colin Firth, Kristin Scott-Thomas and Ben Barnes. Recent film credits include the lead in "Grand Street," directed by Lex Sidon, and "Entity," directed by Steve Stone.

Riley has a degree in English and Linguistics from Durham University. She also earned an honors degree at the London Academy for Music and Dramatic Art (LAMDA), where she appeared on stage in "Grace," "Otto Klump," "The Cherry Orchard," "The Provoked Wife," "The Duchess of Malfi" and "Much Ado About Nothing." Professional theaterr credits include "The Priory" for the Royal Court Theatre and Chekhov's "The Cherry Orchard" for Chichester Festival Theatre.

After graduating, Riley went on to appear in many television productions including a guest appearance in the series "Holby City," and the telefilms "Miss Marple: The Mirror Crack'd" from Side to Side, "Spanish Flu: The Forgotten Fallen," "Foyle's Wa," "Wuthering Heights," opposite Tom Hardy, "Inspector George Gently" and "Dis/Connected." She most recently was seen in a recurring role in "DCI Banks" and in the Encore miniseries "The Take," opposite Tom Hardy and Brian Cox.
