Chelsea Meissner in "Survivor: One World" (2012)
Chelsea Meissner ("Survivor 2012") describes herself as funny, driven and bad ass. She was a state champion equestrian rider. Her other hobbies include golf, hunting and wakeboarding. Her pet peeves include slow drivers and people who stand too close to her at the checkout line.
Who is her inspiration in life? "My mom, who was a single mother of two and worked hard to keep a roof over our heads. She survived Lyme's disease and has been a fighter her entire life."
When asked which "Survivor" contestant she is most like, she says, "I haven't seen any country girls who have a strong redneck side that are strong competitors."
She says she is on the show for the personal challenges and to win the money. She thinks she will survive on the show because, "I am extremely creative and am known for turning nothing into something. I have experience spear fishing and hunting. I am also good at making people laugh to lighten the mood." She thinks she will ultimately win, because "I'm athletic, competitive, know how to play a smart game, love the outdoors and am easy to get along with."
