Cheryl Tiegs is a model, designer, author, businesswoman, public speaker and avid spokesperson for health and fitness, the environment and underprivileged children. Cheryl Tiegs defines the term "supermodel" and is an acknowledged icon for women of all ages. Cheryl Tiegs' career started at 17 with the covers of Glamour, Seventeen and Elle. Cheryl Tiegs also had her own Sports Illustrated "Aerobics Interval Training" exercise video, authored the book "The Way to Natural Beauty," and has made numerous TV guest appearances, including recently on "Oprah." In 2004 Cheryl Tiegs entered the 'Hall of Fame' in the 40th Anniversary edition of Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue, and was included in People Magazine's Most Beautiful issue. In 2007 Cheryl Tiegs had a role in the feature film "Walk Hard: The Dewey Cox Story," starring John C. Reilly, in which she and Reilly sang together. Cheryl Tiegs has also thrown out the first pitch at a Dodger game, throwing a perfect strike to her son, Zack. Cheryl Tiegs is a sought after speaker on health, fitness, achieving balance in life and on the environment. Cheryl Tiegs has become the national spokesperson for Cambria, the only producer of natural quartz surfaces in the U.S., and is "greening" her own lifestyle with a hybrid car and by participating in Project Driveway, driving the GM Equinox fuel cell vehicle. Cheryl Tiegs has appeared on "Living with Ed" (HGTV) with Ed Begley, Jr. to promote environmentally conscious living, and is committed to educating the public on indoor air quality, wrapping up a nationwide radio campaign to bring awareness to this issue.
