A native of Atlanta, Georgia, child actor China Anne McClain discovered her love of acting while memorizing the lines of her favorite movies and dressing up as different characters. China Anne McClain's passion for pretending sparked her career in 2005, when she was chosen by director Rob Hardy and producer Will Packer to portray the character Alexis in their film "The Gospel." China Anne McClain has most recently been seen in Tyler Perry's movie "Daddy's Little Girls," starring Idris Elba and Gabrielle Union. In December 2008, China Anne McClain will be seen in "Dennis the Menace Christmas," starring Robert Wagner and Louise Fletcher.
