Chris Diamantopoulos stars as Rodney in the USA Network original series "The Starter Wife."

Since moving to the U.S., Chris Diamantopouloshas enjoyed a successful and varied career on stage, small screen, and film.

Raised in Toronto, Chris Diamantopoulos began his career in musical theatre. An accomplished singer, Chris Diamantopoulos's early credits include "Forever Plaid," Andrew Lloyd Webber's "Music Of The Night" and "Joseph And The Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat," in which he understudied Donny Osmond in the title role. Chris Diamantopoulos received critical acclaim for his portrayal of Che Guevara in Pittsburgh CLO's production of "Evita." On Broadway, Chris Diamantopoulos appeared as Marius in "Les Miserables," and had the unique experience of appearing naked on stage as Ethan Girard in "The Full Monty." Convinced he left a big impression, Chris Diamantopoulos switched gears and headed to the west coast.

On the small screen, Chris Diamantopoulos has appeared on numerous television shows, including "Law & Order," "Third Watch," "Frasier," "Nip/Tuck," "American Dreams," "Charmed," "The Sopranos," "CSI," "Boston Legal" and "Eli Stone." Chris Diamantopoulos received a Gemini Award nomination and a Prism Award for his portrayal of Robin Williams in the NBC movie "Behind The Camera: Mork & Mindy." Recently, Chris Diamantopoulos starred opposite Lili Taylor in the Lifetime series "State Of Mind."

Chris Diamantopoulos's film credits include "The Adulterer," "Drop Dead Roses," "Into The Fire," "Wedding Daze" opposite Isla Fisher; and "Three Days To Vegas" opposite Rip Torn, Peter Falk and George Segal. Most recently, he starred in the feature film "Under New Management."

Also an established voice-over artist, Chris Diamantopoulos has lent his voice to numerous national TV and radio campaigns. Of Greek heritage, Chris Diamantopoulos took pride in voicing the ancient Greek narrative in Academy Award winner Jessica Yu's "Protagonist." Chris Diamantopoulos has also narrated documentaries for Discovery, Sundance and Travel Channel, and currently voices several characters on Fox's hit show "American Dad."

Chris Diamantopoulos is married to actress Becki Newton.
