Chris Wood stars in "Containment" on The CW as Jake Riley, a young cop who finds himself trapped inside the walls of a vast urban quarantine after a deadly epidemic breaks out in Atlanta.

Most recently, Chris Wood starred as the vengeful, yet charming, Kai Parker in the sixth season of "The Vampire Diaries." Prior to that, he has had recurring and guest-starring roles on HBO's Emmy Award-winning series "Girls," The CW's "The Carrie Diaries" and TNT's "Major Crimes."

Wood's theater credits include the role of Melchior in "Spring Awakening" and Joe Hardy in "Damn Yankees."

Wood, who was named one of Variety's "TV Actors to Watch in 2015," is a graduate of Elon University and currently resides in Los Angeles.
