Christie Clark as Carrie Brady on "Days of our Lives"
The oldest of three children, Christie Clark grew up in Orange County, CA. After performing in a school play at the age of nine, Christie Clark decided acting was her future. A family friend helped Christie Clark find an agent and she soon landed a commercial for Mattel. Christie Clark went on to appear in the horror move "A Nightmare on Elm Street Part II: Freddy's Revenge" and had a guest appearance on the television show "Ask Max" before arriving in Salem as "Carrie Brady."
Christie Clark was on "Days of Our Lives" for four years before she decided to leave Salem and try her hand at other opportunities. Christie Clark landed guest appearances on "Hull High"," Life Goes On," "Changes" and a short stint on the daytime drama "General Hospital." Christie Clark also appeared in the made-for-television movie "Danielle Steel's Changes," and returned to the horror film genre with a role in "Children of the Corn - Part II."
Christie Clark returned to "Days" in 1992, staying for seven years before "Carrie" literally rode off into the sunset. Christie Clark used the time since to travel abroad, where she met her husband, and discovered the martial art of Krav Maga, which she continues to practice. Christie Clark is also a businesswoman and created a line of clothing for women snowboarders. Christie Clark also currently has a hand in a San Francisco restaurant. "The more you do," she says, "the more you are capable of doing."
Never too far from her roots, Christie Clark once again returned to Salem and to the studio that she affectionately refers to as "home."
Christie Clark splits her time between Los Angeles and San Francisco, where she resides with her husband and their two dogs.
