Christina Elmore stars in "The Last Ship" on TNT as Lt. Alisha Granderson. The role marks her television debut.

Christina Elmore earned her B.A. in African American Studies from Harvard University in 2009. While there, she performed on stage in "Nine," "Twelfth Night" and "Ma Rainey's Black Bottom." She then earned her MFA in Acting from the American Conservatory Theater (ACT), graduating in 2012. She was seen in ACT productions of "A Christmas Carol," "Bright Eye of the Moon," "A MidSummer Night's

Dream," "The Flu Season" and "The Three Sisters." She also attended A Guthrie Experience for Actors in Training. Other stage credits include "A House That Will Not Stand" and "Terminating" at the Berkeley Repertory Theater.

On the big screen, Elmore appeared in the critically acclaimed independent feature "Fruitvale Station," starring Michael B. Jordan, Melonie Diaz and Octavia Spencer.
