Previously, Christina McLarty worked at CBS 2 News in Los Angeles as an entertainment reporter for four years. Notable interviews included Stevie Wonder, The Black Eyed Peas, Mel Brooks, Britney Spears, members of the Los Angeles Lakers and the cast of "Hawaii 5-0."
Previously McLarty served as a lifestyle correspondent for CBS 11 News in Dallas/Fort Worth, covering arts, fashion, food, entertainment and culture. Christina also hosted "Time Out With Coach Johnson," a show centered around the Dallas Mavericks. Christina often traveled with the team, providing a behind the scenes glimpse into life on the road in the NBA.
Before Dallas, McLarty worked as a General Assignment Reporter for KATV in Little Rock, Arkansas, her home town. Christina covered everything from duck hunting to Wesley Clark's campaign. She even scored a one-on-one sit down interview with the former first lady of Arkansas and the nation, Sen. Hillary Clinton.
McLarty attended New York University, earning a degree in Broadcast Journalism and English.
