"City Girl Diaries," formerly known as "Taking NY," is a reality docu-series on the Style Network that reaches for big city dreams with five chic pals. These 30-something, talented and beautiful best friends will take viewers on a high-class journey through their fast-paced New York City lives, from epic girl talk sessions to their dating mishaps, tumultuous love lives and demanding careers. Despite their drastically different personalities and busy professions, this group of women remains inseparable for better or for worse. Together, they will navigate old friends, new beginnings and awkward situations.

The series focuses on a group of gorgeous, well-dressed, high powered and well-connected women in New York City, including Leigh Rossini, a publicist for Louis Licari; gossip columnist Marianne Garvey; fashion designer Leila Shams; celebrity publicist Kelly Brady; and Raina Seitel, an entertainment and lifestyle correspondent. They're the "it" girls in the world of fashion, beauty, gossip and entertainment. These big apple "besties" might seem like they have it all but their lives are anything but perfect. This docu-series chronicles the ups and downs of best friends fighting to have it all in the big city — a man, a corner office, looks that kill and a slammin' social life — all while trying to keep their cool. These women are at a pivotal moment in their lives, having to make decisions that will not only affect their friendships, but their futures as well.

"City Girl Diaries" is produced by Discovery Studios LLC. Gary Shapiro, Daniel Soiseth and Jason Sands serve as executive producers.
