Colin Egglesfield stars in "The Client List" on Lifetime as Evan.

Egglesfield previously starred as Auggie Kirkpatrick, a sensitive sous chef with a dark past, on The CW's re-boot of "Melrose Place." Most recently, he starred in the romantic comedy "Something Borrowed," opposite Kate Hudson and Ginnifer Goodwin, and two independent films: "Beautiful Dreamer," and the comedy "The Good Guy," which premiered at the Tribeca Film Festival in 2010. He also recently starred in the Lifetime television movie "Carnal Innocence," with Gabrielle Anwar, and guest-starred on CBS's hit series "Hawaii Five-0" and ABC's "Brothers & Sisters," portraying a young William Walker, the late patriarch of the Walker Clan, opposite Sally Field. In addition, he had a recurring role on the TNT drama "Rizzoli & Isles" playing Tommy Rizzoli, Angie Harmon's brother.

Colin Egglesfield was born in Farmington Hills, Michigan. At the age of 10, his family moved to Crete, Illinois, a suburb of Chicago, where his father continued his medical practice and his mother opened up a café. Following high school, Colin attended Illinois Wesleyan University, then transferred to the University of Iowa a year later to pursue a degree in biology/pre-med, in hopes of following in his father's footsteps.

After earning his degree, Egglesfield took a break to travel. While exploring, he was discovered by famed photographer Bruce Weber, which immediately led to model work for Ralph Lauren, Versace and Calvin Klein. Shortly thereafter, Egglesfield was doing photo shoots around the world and walking the runways of Milan, New York and Paris for Armani, Versace, Dolce and Calvin Klein, just to name a few.

In 1997, he moved to New York City, where he furthered his modeling career and began to book national commercials and guest appearances on such TV shows as "Law & Order: SVU" and "Leap of Faith." Egglesfield went to Los Angeles to further his career and immediately landed guest appearances on "Gilmore Girls," "Nip/Tuck," "Charmed," "Twelve Days of Terror" and a pilot called "Lost in Oz." He was also cast in lead and supporting roles in films such as "Must Love Dogs," "Beautiful Dreamer" and "The Good Guy." After he landed a regular role as Erica Kane's son on "All My Children," Egglesfield returned to New York in 2005 and continued on the daytime soap opera for four years.

On stage, Egglesfield appeared with Riant Theatre group, where he starred off-Broadway as Lt. Dan Kaffee in "A Few Good Men."

When not filming, Egglesfield runs his own T-shirt company, Shout Out! Clothing." Shout Out! shirts come with Velcro letters which attach to the shirt, allowing the wearer to create endless customizable messages. This is consistent with Egglesfield's belief in the importance of self-expression; Shout Out! is a tool that empowers wearers to be whomever they want and share it with the world. Immediate plans for Shout Out! include the development of a not-for-profit branch of the company that will dedicate its resources to supporting educational initiatives for disadvantaged children.

An avid runner who completed the Chicago, New York, and San Diego marathons, Egglesfield has also raised money for such not-for-profits as Team for Kids, Leukemia and Lymphoma Society and the Lance Armstrong Foundation. In addition, he has tutored high school students at The Door Youth Center in lower Manhattan and plans to continue his quest to create better educational opportunities for disadvantaged children wherever possible.

Egglesfield currently lives in Los Angeles and enjoys running painting, drawing and riding mountain bikes.
