Colin Ford stars in "We Bought a Zoo," directed by Cameron Crowe and starring Matt Damon and Scarlett Johansson, as Delbert McGinty.
On The CW's "Supernatural," Ford plays the recurring role of a young Sam Winchester, who is played as an adult by series star Jared Padalecki. Ford also provides the voice of Jake in the Disney Junior animated series "Jake and the Never Land Pirates" and played the title role in the direct-to-video "Jack and the Beanstalk" (2010), opposite Chloë Grace Moretz and Christopher Lloyd.
Colin Ford started modeling at just 4 years old with print ads for regional and got his start acting in film as the following year in an uncredited role in "Sweet Home Alabama," starring Reese Witherspoon. That was followed with "When Harry Met Lloyd: Dumb and Dumberer" and "The Work and the Glory."
2005 marked a whirlwind year that bean with a high profile photo shoot with Brad Pitt and Angelina Joelle for W Magazine. This was immediately followed by a trip to Vancouver with Tom Welling and the cast of "Smallville." Colin then reprised his role as Matthew Steed in "The Work and the Gory: American Zion." If that weren't enough, Colin played a lead role, as Jackson Patch in "The Dog Days of Summer," along with veteran actor Will Patton. Capping off a busy year, Colin was back in Vancouver playing Zeph, the son of Jason Statham and Claire Forlani in the epic adventure, "In the Name of the King: A Dungeon Siege Story."
In addition to print, television and film, Colin also has a passion for voice work. Colin earned the role of Dart, the reindeer, performing with Kathy Bates, Andy Griffith, Jay Leno, Ed Asner, Shirley Jones, and many others in the feature film, "Christmas Is Here Again." Ford also voices Mikey in the Disney short-form series "Can You Teach My Alligator Manners?"
When Colin is not acting he enjoys skateboarding, basketball and football.
