Corbin Bleu Pictures Corbin Bleu stars in The CW's high-fashion drama "The Beautiful Life: TBL" as up-and-coming model Isaac Taylor. Corbin Bleu also stars as Chad Danforth in Disney Channel's "High School Musical" franchise and as Izzy Daneils in the Disney Channel Original Movie, "Jump In!" In 2009, Corbin Bleu released "Speed of Light" (Hollywood Records), his second studio album. Corbin Bleu enlisted some of the top producers and writers in the industry today, including Eric Hudson (Kanye West, Jennifer Hudson), Claude Kelly (Akon, Michael Jackson) and Brian Kennedy (Rhianna). Corbin Bleu recently performed "Moments that Matter" live at the 2009 Kids Inaugural "We Are the Future" Concert in Washington D.C., for an audience that included First Lady Michelle Obama and her daughters. The single will also be featured in Corbin Bleu's forthcoming film "Free Style." Corbin Bleu's debut solo album titled "Another Side" was released in May 2007. The album featured the hit single "Push it to the Limit" from his film "Jump In!" Corbin Bleu's single "Run It Back Again," from the Disney Channel Original Movie "Minutemen," became one of the top 10 downloaded songs on iTunes. Corbin Bleu performed material from "Another Side" during his North America tours in 2007 and 2008, and was nominated for a 2008 NAACP Image Award for "Best New Artist." In late 2009, Corbin Bleu can be seen in director William Dear's "Free Style," a theatrical film which was also produced by Bleu's company Bleuman Entertainment. Corbin Bleu stars as Cale Bryant, a young motocross racer looking to win the Amateur National Championships while also supporting his family.Corbin Bleu 's first leading film role was in Bart Freundlich's "Catch That Kid," opposite Kristen Stewart. Corbin Bleu's other film credits include Paul W.S. Anderson's "Soldier," opposite Kurt Russell; Dean Parisot's "Galaxy Quest" opposite Tim Allen and Sigourney Weaver; Kinka Usher's "Mystery Men," opposite Ben Stiller and Hank Azaria; and Duane Clark's "Family Tree." On television, Corbin Bleu starred in the Emmy Award-winning "High School Musical" and its sequel, "High School Musical 2," alongside Zac Efron, Vanessa Hudgens and Ashley Tisdale. Corbin Bleu plays Chad, the devoted basketball player and best friend to Troy (Efron). "High School Musical 2" premiered to 18 million viewers. Corbin Bleu reprised his role in "High School Musical 3: Senior Year" and to date, the film has grossed over $250 million worldwide. Corbin Bleu starred as a boxer-turned-double-dutch champion in the smash hit "Jump In!" with Keke Palmer and his real-life father, David Reivers. Corbin Bleu began appearing in television commercials at the age two, for products such as Life cereal, Bounty, Hasbro, and Nabisco. By the age of four, Corbin Bleu was a model with the Ford Modeling Agency in New York. Corbin Bleu appeared in print ads for stores such as Macy's, Gap, Target, and Toys R Us, and fashion spreads in Child, Parent, and American Baby magazines, as well as having his image on toys and game packaging. At age six Corbin Bleu appeared in his first professional theatre production off Broadway playing an abandon homeless mute in the play "Tiny Tim is Dead." Corbin Bleu and his family moved to Los Angeles in 1996 and he quickly landed a recurring role on the television series "High Incident." Corbin Bleu continued to land small roles in such feature films as "Soldier" with Kurt Russell, "Mystery Men" with Ben Stiller, William H. Macy, and Greg Kinnear, and "Galaxy Quest" with Tim Allen, Sigourney Weaver, and Alan Rickman. Corbin Bleu also guest starred on such television shows as "Hannah Montana," "ER," "Malcolm & Eddie," "Cover Me," and "The Amanda Show." Corbin Bleu also pursued his interest in dancing, becoming one of the first students at the prestigious Debbie Allen Dance Academy. Corbin Bleu then attended the Los Angeles County High School for the Arts as a theatre major. While in his freshman year Corbin Bleu was cast in his first lead role in the feature film "Catch That Kid." Back in school in his sophomore year, Corbin Bleu played the lead role of Ren in the musical "Footloose" and the role of Sonny in the musical "Grease." That same year Corbin Bleu was honored with the award of Theatre Student of the Year. In the summer of 2004 Corbin Bleu became a part of the ensemble cast for the new Discovery Kids television series "Flight 29 Down," filmed on location in Hawaii on the island of Oahu. Corbin Bleu was born in Brooklyn, New York, and currently resides in Los Angeles. Corbin Bleu is the national spokesperson for the Starlight Children's Foundation and is also involved with St. Jude's Children's Hospital and the Make-a-Wish Foundation.
