Since starring in FOX's Hawaii-based drama "North Shore" in 2004 as Gabriel, an aspiring pro-surfer and hotel lifeguard, Sevier has continued to work at a feverish pace in film and television. Sever was recently seen in "Age of the Dragons," with Danny Glover, the coming-of-age drama "Jazzman," opposite Michael Ironside, and the gritty character drama "A Broken Life," alongside Tom Sizemore and Ving Rhames. In addition Sevier guest starred on numerous TV shows in both Canada and the U.S., including "CSI: Miami," "Smallville," "Psych," "The Murdoch Mysteries," "The Dresden Files" and "Heartland." He also recurred on The N's "Instant Star."
Born and raised in a small town near Toronto, Ontario, the personable young actor's first leading role in a TV series came when he starred as Timmy, the young boy devoted to his resourceful collie, in "Lassie the Series," the successful 1990s update of the famous 1950s TV series. The show was very popular and aired simultaneously in Canada, the U.S. and over 40 other countries. For his work on the series, Sevier was nominated for the coveted Gemini Award for Best Performance in a Youth Program.
