Kiyah Wright, Bershan Shaw, Chenoa Maxwell and Tiffany Denee Jones have known each other for more than ten years, and are constant sources of inspiration, support, competition and companionship to one another. Kiyah, an ambitious and successful celebrity hair stylist, is the link that brought the four friends together, and New York City's legendary Harlem neighborhood is where the quartet come together on a regular basis ... over drinks, lunches, dinners, you name it. Two are married, two are single, and all are strong and fiercely independent women who believe in living out their dreams and not letting anybody or anything get in their way.
Even though both Bershan and Tiffany are breast cancer survivors and should be predisposed to love and support one another without question, they are not really the best of friends. A bit of bad blood stemming from a trip to Africa to promote breast cancer awareness that didn't go quite as planned has left the pair somewhat at odds.
Played out against the vibrant background of New York City, the relationships these four women have with one another are joyous, challenging, competitive, supportive, and everything else that real-life friends share. Through the group's adventures, misadventures, romances, successes and life-altering struggles, they may not always see eye-to-eye, but when push comes to shove, they are there for each other with solid and unwavering support as they each face their own unique challenges and triumphs.
