Curtis Cregan is one of the co-stars of the American version of "Hi-5," the Emmy-nominated children's show seen weekdays on TLC and Discovery Kids. Curtis Cregan's segment on "Hi-5" is "Making Music," in which he explains the fundamentals of music and makes musical instruments from everyday objects. Curtis Cregan also provides the voice of the mischief-making puppet Jup-Jup. Curtis Cregan's role on "H-5" is analagous to that of Tim Harding's in the original Australian version.
Prior to "Hi-5," Curtis Cregan appeared on Broadway in "Rent" and toured internationally with productions of "Rent" and "Grease." Born January 18, 1977, Curtis Cregan grew up near Lansing, Michigan. Curtis Cregan studied musical theatre at Interlochen Arts Academy and Cincinnati Conservatory of Music, and he also hosted a Nickelodeon show at Paramount's Kings Island in Ohio. In addition to "Rent" and "Grease," Curtis Cregan's musical theatre credits include roles in "Anything Goes," "The Secret Garden," "The Who's Tommy," "Oklahoma!," and "The Pirates of Penzance." Curtis Cregan currently lives in New York City.
