Damian Young stars in "The Comeback" on HBO as Mark Berman.

Damian Young grew up in Washington, DC, and moved to New York in 1984. On Broadway, he appeared in "Sacrilege" with Ellen Burstyn. He also spent many years with The Cucaracha Theatre Company and worked in other off-Broadway venues including Soho Rep, The Vineyard Theatre, Playwright Horizons, The Flea and The Atlantic.

Young has worked with film directors Hal Hartley, Daisy Mayer, M. Night Shyamalan and Nicholas Hytner, among others. Young has been seen in "Delivery Man," starring Vince Vaughn," "HairBrained," alongside Alex Wolff and Brendan Fraser, Stephen Frears' "Muhammad Ali's Greatest Fight," opposite Christopher Plummer and Frank Langella, "Art Machine," alongside Joseph Cross, Jessica Szohr and Joey Lauren Adams, "Hope Springs," starring Meryl Streep and Tommy Lee Jones, "Hello I Must Be Going," opposite Melanie Lynskey and Blythe Danner, Kevin Smith's "Red State," Joel Schumacher's "Twelve," alongside Chace Crawford and Emma Roberts, "Edge of Darkness," starring Mel Gibson, "
Everybody's Fine" with Robert De Niro and Kate Beckinsale, "Sex and the City," starring Sarah Jessica Parker, "The Guru," opposite Heather Graham, "Unbreakable," starring Bruce Willis and Samuel L. Jackson, and "Snow Day," starring Chevy Chase.

In 2000, Young starred in the USA Network series "The War Next Door." Other television appearances include recurring roles in "Californication," "Damages," "As the World Turns" and "CSI: Miami," and guest-starring roles in "The Blacklist," "Person of Interest," "White Collar," "Law & Order," "Law & Order: Criminal Intent," "Numb3rs," "It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia," "Law & Order: SVU," "The Jury," "Cosby" and "The Adventures of Pete & Pete."

Young and actress Welker White live in Brooklyn, New York, with their two children.
