Dan Ahdoot stars in "Friend Me" on CBS as Reggie. He also recently recurred as Falafel Phil in Disney XD's comedy "Kickin' It."

Dan Ahdoot went to college at the prestigious Johns Hopkins University and graduated with honors as a pre-med student. Shortly thereafter, he decided to take the secure route and ditch medicine for comedy — his parents are still thrilled. After graduating, Ahdoot moved to New York City where he was instantly hailed as one of the hottest young comics on the scene. He performs regularly at every comedy club in Manhattan, and is a founding member of the highly acclaimed Upright Citizens Brigade based improv troupe, Gun Show.

Ahdoot's standup act is based on his hilarious observations about everyday life as a young, hip kid fresh out of college, coupled with his upbringing as a first generation American. His stage-presence blends charm, likeability and wit in a way that keeps crowds in stitches and at the same time, very comfortable.

Ahdoot has been a frequent guest on "The Tonight Show with Jay Leno" where his standup comedy has made him an instant fan favorite. He's performed on Comedy Central's "Premium Blend," was a finalist on Season 2 of NBC's "Last Comic Standing" and was a guest at the Montreal Comedy Festival as well as the Comedy Central South Beach Comedy Festival. He has written for MTV's "Short Circuits," Comedy Central's "Crank Yankers" and A&E's" Roast of Gene Simmons" and has opened for Lewis Black, Jay Mohr, and Dave Chappelle. He has been featured on ABC's "20/20" and the 98.7 KISS FM "Morning Comedy Special" and recently guest starred in Comedy Central's "Workaholics." He was awarded 1st prize at the Philadelphia Comedy Competition in 2003, the NYC Triad Comedy Competition in 2002 and was an honorary guest at the exclusive HA! Comedy Festival in Manhattan.

In addition, Dan is one of the highest booked college acts in the country — performing at well over 300 colleges. He also performs at corporate events for a variety of companies and organizations.
