Dan Bucatinsky stars in HBO's comedy "The Comeback" as publicist Billy Stanton. He also stars in Showtime's "Web Therapy" and previously played the recurring role of James Novak in ABC's hit drama series "Scandal."

Dan Bucatinsky wrote, produced, and starred in indie romantic comedy "All Over the Guy" (Lionsgate). In 2003 he and partner Lisa Kudrow founded Is oIsn't Entertainment, which produced the cult, Emmy-nominated HBO comedy "The Comeback." Their acclaimed docu-series "Who Do You Think You Are?" received an Emmy nomination for Best Reality Series during their third season for NBC and launched its fourth season on TLC. In 2010 the company produced the original online web series "Web Therapy."

Bucatinsky had a recurring role in "In Plain Sight" and has made guest appearances in "Grey's Anatomy," "CSI: Miami," "Curb Your Enthusiasm," "Dirt," "Weeds" and "Friends."
