Daniel Portman stars in "Game of Thrones" on HBO as Podrick Payne.

Scottish actor Daniel Portman made his big screen debut in 2010 in the UK horror thriller "Outcast" and can also be seen in the 2012 film "The Angels' Share." On Scottish television, he had a role in the popular soap opera "River City."

Portman was named Head Boy in his final year at Shawlands Academy. He initially wanted to be a professional rugby player until he broke his leg in a match when he was 16 years old. He studied acting and performing at Reid Kerr College in Paisley.
