Daniel Vosovic is a fashion designer who was the runner-up on Season 2 of Bravo's "Project Runway."
Recognizing a good opportunity when he saw it, Daniel Vosovic's career quickly accelerated after the show. Having the chance to show at NY Fashion Week and to show his work to millions of people around the world, proved to be an invaluable attribute to the growing foundation of his career.
Since his time on the show, the Michigan native and FIT grad chose to take a step back to further develop his designing in the proper way; within a myriad of New York City design labels he has continued to cultivate the modern, edgy take on upscale dressing he's become known for. Most recently however, Daniel has announced the launch of his signature line in February 2010, where he plans to unveil his first collection during New York Fashion Week.
Over the years, Daniel has involved himself in many side projects ranging from TV shows, art directing and celebrity dressing, though he will attest that his greatest achievement post-show would be the experience of authoring Fashion Inside Out. The photo-heavy book is a thoughtful overview of the fashion design process from start to finish, with interviews from industry leaders such as Diane von Furstenberg, Todd Oldham, Tim Gunn, Nina Garcia and countless other fashion insiders who give their advice, point of view, and personal narratives on making it work in this ever-changing industry. Furthermore, a successful six-week long book tour brought Daniel face-to-face with fashion fans nationwide, giving both sides the opportunity to swap stories, thoughts, and ideas on all things fashion.
Daniel also was given the opportunity to design a chic capsule collection and accessories line for NYLO Hotels (including the staff uniforms) used in each of their numerous locations. Additionally, select pieces from the sleek men's and women's collection are sold on-site at in-hotel boutiques.
Alongside Daniel's main objective and numerous side projects, he's also involved with a few select charity organizations near to his heart, including The Trevor Project and The Matthew Shepard Foundation, where at the end of the day, the constant reminder that fashion is a business about people, is a welcoming one.
