Actress Danielle Brooks is a Hollywood newcomer who was previously cast in Lifetime's pilot for the dramedy "Modern Love," created by Jenny Bicks ("The Big C," "Sex & the City").

Brooks received her BFA from The Juilliard School in New York City in 2011.
