Danny Teeson showcases his knowledge of dance as a judge on Oxygen's dance/weight loss competition series "Dance Your Ass Off."
A native of England, Danny Teeson studied ballet, tap, modern, jazz, pas de deux, musical theatre and hip hop, amongst many other dance styles for five years, three of which were while he attended the reputable Laine Theatre Arts Performing Arts Academy. At 19, he was a member of the original London cast of the widely successful "Fame - The Musical," where he was the dance captain and understudy to Tyrone Jackson and Joe Vegas. After several years of performing in various productions, Teeson transitioned from theatre into commercial dance. He danced and choreographed for Grammy Award-winning artists such as Kylie Minogue, Diana Ross, Robbie Williams and Tom Jones, with whom he won the VH1 Best Music Video award for "Sex Bomb."
Moving to Los Angeles seven years ago, Teeson founded his own company called Danny Teeson Productions. Under this banner, he has produced, designed, choreographed and directed many Los Angeles-based fashion and trade shows, including Cal Mart (LA Fashion Week), "American Idol" (Live Tour) and is currently serving as the creative director to the hugely successful pop/country artist Carrie Underwood.
As a lifestyle coach on Bravo's "Queer Eye for the Straight Girl," Teeson taught women about every aspect of life, from cooking, entertaining, dancing to health and fitness, and most recently took the role of fitness correspondent, reporting nationwide weight loss success story's for the fitness giant Beachbody.com.
The United States government recognized his unique talent by making him a U.S. citizen. He currently resides in Los Angeles.
