Darin Brooks was born and raised in Honolulu, Hawaii where his parents, older brother and Dachshund, Keiki, still reside.
After playing the role of Rapunzel's Prince in "Into the Woods" in high school, Darin Brooks was hooked on acting. Darin Brooks has studied with Ivana Chubbuck and at Carter/Thor Studios here in Los Angeles. Two years ago, casting director Kathy Henderson referred Darin Brooks to an agent who urged him to move to Los Angeles. With only a monologue on tape, Darin Brooks had a general meeting with "Days of our Lives'" casting director, Fran Bascom and he was brought in to producers for the role of "Max." Darin Brooks' one professional credit is a short movie by Toby Wilkins called "Staring at the Sun" that is making the rounds on the festival circuit.
Darin Brooks credits John Travolta, Al Pacino and Johnny Depp as his favorites, saying "they are all great actors of our time and I dream of working with them some day. They are all able to adapt and create such different characters, and they bring so much energy to what they do."
