Dave Farra from "Robot Combat League" provides the play-by-play commentary in the Syfy robot competition series.

Born in St. Paul, Minnesota, Dave Farra got into broadcasting at a young age. On air with his own radio show at just 19 years old, Dave was destined to make an impact early on. He worked at a South Carolina radio cluster for 5 years before moving to a prominent CBS Radio station in Las Vegas, Nevada.

While continuing to host his award winning radio show for KXTE-FM (winner of "Best Radio Personality" twice, and a nomination for "Best Alternative Radio Show in The Country"), Dave began doing work as a TV host on red carpets around Las Vegas. This valuable experience led to exciting hosting gigs with Red Bull, Superior Cage Combat, The International Poker League, The Dew Tour, Yahoo! Sports and more.

In 2011, Dave was hired by Heavy.com as host of the official UFC pre-show, "Fight Day Live." The program averaged over 250,000 viewers for each of the 14 episodes produced in 2011. Also in 2011, Dave was hired by The Gurin Company as the host of a new game show pilot for The Cartoon Network, entitled "Launch'd."

Dave's radio imprint has expanded as well with CBS Radio's "Dave and Mahoney Morning Show," picking up top honors as 2010 Best Morning Show in Las Vegas; the "MMA:30 Radio Hour," inking a deal in 2012 for national syndication; and over 40 affiliates airing his radio feature, "MMA Fix," through Westwood One in prominent markets like Miami, Portland, Sacramento, and Las Vegas.
