David Lyons stars in "Revolution" on NBC as Bass. He also recently starred as Vince Faraday in NBC's "The Cape."

One of Screen International's "Stars of Tomorrow," Australian actor David Lyons portrayed Dr. Simon Brenner on NBC's "ER." A graduate from the National Institute of Dramatic Art (NIDA), Australia's most prestigious acting college, he has performed on stage with both of Australia's leading theater companies: the Sydney Theatre Company and the Melbourne Theatre Company. In 2005 he won a recurring role in the hugely popular police drama "Blue Heelers." In addition to a role in the longtime cult soap, "Neighbours," he also starred as leading seaman Josh "ET" Holiday in the high-seas action series "Sea Patrol."

On the silver screen, David Lyons can be seen in "Eat Pray Love," starring Julia Roberts, and "Storm Warning," directed by Jamie Blanks ("Urban Legend," "Valentine") and distributed by Bob Weinstein's Dimension Films. Lyons also contributed a riveting performance as a gambler with a dark secret in the Outback thriller "Cactus," starring alongside Aussie screen icon Bryan Brown.
