David Williams from "Police POV" stars in the truTV reality series.

Officer David Williams ("Police POV") is a native Oklahoman who joined the Fort Smith Police Department two years ago. Officer Williams used to work in a factory but grew tired of boring, mundane work. Eager to find a more exciting job, he decided to become a police officer. His first introduction to the TASER X26 electronic control device was being utterly incapacitated by its electricity during his training, something all cadets have to endure. "The AXON on-officer camera is a great tool for police officers to wear," Williams said. "There are a lot of situations were the citizens you are trying to protect will falsely accuse you of actions that never happened and can even put your job in jeopardy."
