Dawn met Ryan at UCLA, and then received her law degree at UC Davis. After passing the California State Bar Exam on the first try, Dawn placed her career on hold so that her husband could play pro football, where he was able to forge a career as a backup for a handful of seasons. After his Pro Football career, the family settled in Dallas where Dawn is practicing law part-time and Ryan is trying play one more year in the upstart UFL. Dawn and Ryan are encountering hardships that pro football families surprisingly endure more often than one would think. Despite living modestly, the costs of maintaining a home, toddler and child with special needs has taken a toll on their finances. Although their financial future is uncertain, Dawn is sure about one thing: that she married the right man...

A native Californian, Dawn was bitten by the acting bug at a young age. Her early training with the Al Fann Theatrical Ensemble and Kevin McDermott's Center Stage L.A. helped her land roles in several TV shows and plays. Although Dawn took a break from the industry during junior high and high school to focus on academics and sports, her love for acting never went away.

During college, Dawn balanced her academic pursuits with modeling and acting. She developed an interest in media and journalism and earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication Studies from UCLA. She went on to earn a law degree from the UC Davis School of Law and is licensed to practice in California and Texas. Dawn practiced law in Los Angeles for about a year before moving to Buffalo, New York where her husband Ryan played for the NFL's Buffalo Bills. While in Buffalo, Dawn reconnected with her love for all things acting when she joined the Frank Rossi studio and began taking acting lessons.

Based in Dallas, Texas, Dawn is the host of "D210 TV," a show featuring the latest in entertainment and sports. Dawn recently wrapped up a sting co-hosting "The Bite," a weekly cutting-edge entertainment show being broadcast in high-volume restaurant chains nationwide. Dawn is also featured in a series of "Smart Tips" for the Fine Living Network.

Dawn recently competed in the 2010 Mrs. Texas America pageant where she finished 4th runner-up. She was also awarded the coveted Best Interview Award.

During her spare time, Dawn enjoys spending time with her family and participating in her favorite charities: Off the Field and Garth Brooks Teammates for Kids Foundation.
