"Freedom is a basic human right and slavery is one of the greatest threats to that freedom," Moore says. "No one has the right to enslave another person." That same year, Moore spoke at Clinton Global Initiative, the United Nations, and at a congressional briefing on the domestic sex trafficking of children. She also traveled to Haiti to address the issue within the earthquake ravaged country and visited the Mexican border with the Department of Homeland Security and Immigrations and Customs Enforcement. Moore recently traveled to Nepal where she filmed a documentary with CNN entitled "Nepal's Stolen Children." The documentary follows Moore throughout her trip to Nepal as she learns more about and discusses the different stages of trafficking, the battle against it and some of the trauma that often follows rescue.
