Demo is one of the only MCW wrestlers with mixed martial arts training. He began his career in 2004 with the DMA's Dwarf Cage Fighting and then moved on to wrestle with the WWE in 2006. He is trained in sambo wrestling and gladiator style grappling. He calls his signature move the "swan pawn," where he pulls himself up to the periphery by a backwards flip and does a high fall body-slam.
When he's not on tour, Demo works at a strip club as a DJ six nights a week. The club reportedly offers any customer $100 if they can pin the powerhouse wrestler down for two minutes. Demo even wears his home-made wrestling outfits and face masks in the strip club when he works the turntables. In the four years he's worked there, Demo says no one has been able to pin him.
When he's not in the ring or spinning music, he's in Tampa, Florida, being a father. Demo's 3-year-old son from a seven-year marriage is also a little person. Demo recently had another child with his new fiancée. Born and raised in Newark by a Pentecostal family, Demo has no other siblings. He studied architecture in college and enjoys the arts and sewing wrestling costumes in his free time.
