Denise Burse's career spans three decades and is a gallery of distinctive characterizations. A native of Atlanta, Denise Burse began her professional training around the city by performing at the Just Us Theatre, The Alliance Theatre and The Atlanta Children's Theater.

Denise Burse's television credits include appearances on "Law & Order," "Law & Order: Special Victims Unit," "Law & Order: Criminal Intent," "The Sopranos" and "Third Watch." Denise Burse has also been seen on the stage in such productions as "An American Daughter," "Harriet's Return," "Ground People" and Pearl Cleage's "Flyin' West." Denise Burse was most recently seen as a cast member of "Radio Gold," which is the last installment in the ten play cycle by August Wilson.
