Between a high-profile divorce and custody battle and losing her mother to cancer, Denise Richards's life is, well, complicated. But with her father's companionship, loyal friends by her side, two gorgeous girls under foot and a veritable menagerie to care for at home, Denise Richards is moving on—and up! Denise Richards grew up in the Chicago area, until her family relocated to Oceanside, California when Denise was 15. Denise Richards began working as a fashion model and moved to Los Angeles after she graduated from high school. Denise Richards landed parts in both television and movies, and gave breakthrough performances in "Starship Troopers" (1997) with Casper Van Dien, "Wild Things" (1998) and "The World Is Not Enough" (1999), in which she plays Bond Girl, geo-physicist Christmas Jones. Denise Richards also was in "Drop Dead Gorgeous," "Undercover Brother" (2002) with Eddie Griffin and appeared in "Scary Movie 3" (2003) with her former husband, Charlie Sheen. In addition to her film work, Denise Richards has made regular appearances in the comedies "Two and a Half Men," "Spin City," "Friends" and "Seinfeld."
