Season 6

ABC's "Desperate Housewives" is a primetime soap with a truly contemporary take on the "happily ever after." The series takes a darkly comedic look at suburbia, where the secret lives of housewives aren't always what they seem.

The series began with Mary Alice Young (Brenda Strong) leaving her perfect house, in the loveliest of suburbs, and ending it all. Commenting from her elevated P.O.V., she took us into the lives of her family, friends and neighbors. This season, more of the shockingly delicious secrets viewers have come to know and love await her circle of girlfriends. When Mike Delfino (James Denton) makes his choice between Susan Mayer (Teri Hatcher) and Katherine Mayfair (Dana Delany), one woman is driven to a mental breakdown; Lynette (Felicity Huffman) and Tom Scavo (Doug Savant) face the challenging realities of yet another pregnancy; Bree Hodge (Marcia Cross) — Martha Stewart on steroids — struggles to break free of Orson (Kyle MacLachlan) and her inhibitions; and Gabrielle Solis (Eva Longoria Parker) is put to the test by husband Carlos' (Ricardo Antonio Chavira) teenaged niece now in their care.

A colorful new housewife moves to Wisteria Lane with her family, bringing along secrets shrouded in mystery. Angie Bolen (Drea de Matteo) and her husband, Nick (Jeffrey Nordling), have moved into the perfect house in the perfect neighborhood. But when their peculiar son, Danny (Beau Mirchoff), causes a stir, they risk the threat of revealing their shameful past.

From her unique vantage point, Mary Alice sees more now than she ever did alive, and she's planning to share all the juicy secrets that hide behind every neighbor's closed door in this seemingly perfect American suburb.

The "Desperate Housewives" cast includes Teri Hatcher as Susan Mayer, Felicity Huffman as Lynette Scavo, Marcia Cross as Bree Hodge, Eva Longoria Parker as Gabrielle Solis, Ricardo Antonio Chavira as Carlos Solis, Doug Savant as Tom Scavo, Kyle MacLachlan as Orson Hodge, Dana Delany as Katherine Mayfair, Drea de Matteo as Angie Bolen, Maiara Walsh as Ana Solis, Brenda Strong as Mary Alice Young, James Denton as Mike Delfino, Andrea Bowen as Julie Mayer, Kathryn Joosten as Mrs. McCluskey, Jeffrey Nordling as Nick Bolen, Beau Mirchoff as Danny Bolen, Charlie Carver as Porter Scavo, Joshua Logan Moore as Parker Scavo, Kendall Applegate as Penny Scavo, Madison de la Garza as Juanita, and Mason Vale Cotton as MJ Delfino.

Commenting from her elevated P.O.V., she took us into the lives of her family, friends and neighbors. This season, "Desperate Housewives" resumes five years later on Wisteria Lane with several changes and new secrets in store for her circle of girlfriends. Susan Mayer (Teri Hatcher) is with a new man; Lynette Scavo (Felicity Huffman) struggles with raising troublesome teenaged boys who have an affinity for breaking the law; Bree Hodge (Marcia Cross)—Martha Stewart on steroids—is the owner of a thriving catering business and on the verge of publishing her first cookbook; and Gabrielle Solis (Eva Longoria Parker) finds herself chasing after two daughters and looking drastically different from the ex-model she once was.
