"Dig" (TV show) is an event series on USA Network that is an action adventure drama starring Jason Isaacs ("Awake") and Anne Heche ("Save Me").

The series centers around FBI detective Peter Connelly (Isaacs) who is currently working in Jerusalem. While there, Connelly finds himself embroiled in a race to track down a religious artifact that could trigger an event that would change the course of history. During the search he becomes the suspect in the sensational murder of a young female archeologist and uncovers a conspiracy 2000 years in the making.

Heche plays Lynn, the head of the Jerusalem FBI office and Peter's boss. She is also his only friend and occasional lover. Despite her sense of humor and soft side, Lynn is tough and isn't afraid to take her team — including Peter — to task when they slip up.

The cast also includes Emmy nominated actress Lauren Ambrose ("Six Feet Under"), Alison Sudol (A Fine Frenzy), Golden Globe Award-winning actress Regina Taylor ("The Unit"), David Costabile ("Breaking Bad") and Tony Award nominee Omar Metwally ("Non-Stop").

USA Network's "Dig" is produced by Universal Cable Productions (UCP) and developed by Keshet in association with BermanBraun. Co-creators Tim Kring ("Heroes") and Gideon Raff ("Homeland") both serve as executive producers. The series will shoot in Jerusalem as well as in other international locations.
