ABC's "Downfall" TV show is a unique, high-stakes, adrenaline-charged and larger-than-life game show from FremantleMedia North America ("The Price Is Right," "Family Feud," "Let's Make a Deal"). Played atop a tall building in the middle of a metropolitan landscape, the game has contestants quickly answer a series of trivia questions against the clock. If they play the perfect game, they could leave with a million dollars in cash and prizes. But if not, they could just as easily see their hopes and dreams slip through their fingers and off the side building—literally.

jrpeterman says:
Is this seriously a show about destroying food and prizes? Unless I learn everything going off that conveyor belt in the previews is made of blown sugar and corn starch, I will remain horrified with America's level of consumerism. Yet this is a new low, even for a game show. It's enough to make me want to boycott ABC. Not only are we watching material items that symbolize our own dreams and goals be demolished, we're wasting resources that could be used to fund non-profits and organizations in need. I'm sorry, but how could this be justified? ABC executives - what's wrong with you?
aaron says:
Actually, the prizes on the conveyor belt are replicas. They are fake, and the actual prizes are recycled if they are not won.

Got Downfall spoilers? What did you think of the last show?
