Drew Thomas from "America's Got Talent" is one of the contestants on Season 4 of the NBC talent competition series. He is an illusionist from Orlando, Florida, who has made it into the quarterfinals.
Drew Thomas developed a fascination with magic at the age of 6. His mother would occasionally purchase magic kits for his birthdays as well as allow him frequent visits to the library where he poured over every magic book he could get his hands on. Immediately, Thomas began putting on shows for his family with whatever props he could find around the house. His family was always very supportive and patient while he learned his craft. After a skateboarding accident in which he broke his leg, an immobile Thomas was able to focus his full attention on learning slight-of-hand. Once he recovered, he became a semi-professional and started booking birthday parties and restaurants. After graduating high school, he went on to work for a variety of theme parks such as Sea World, Six Flags and Universal Studios. "America's Got Talent" is taking Drew Thomas (age 40) one step closer to becoming a successful illusionist who can give back the special sensation he experienced as a kid while sitting in the front row of his first magic show.

Drew Thomas is an illusionist with big dreams. He's worked all types of odd jobs, but his true passion is illusion and magic. When he makes three women appear out of thin air on "America's Got Talent 4," the judges are astounded. Piers Morgan tells Drew he has the possibility of winning it all, and David Hasselhoff and Sharon Osbourne agree.
