Dylan Sprouse stars as Zack Martin in the sitcom "The Suite Life on Deck" and its parent series, "The Suite Life of Zack & Cody." Dylan Sprouse plays opposite his identical twin brother, Cole Sprouse, marking the first time the twins are playing separate roles in the same series.

Like the young actors in real life, their sitcom characters are dissimilar. Zack instigates the mischief and would rather play video games than do his homework. Cody is more studious but when he reluctantly gets drawn into Zack's frequent shenanigans, it's his guileless nature that somehow gets them out of trouble.

Dylan Sprouse, named for the poet Thomas, was born August 4, 1992, in Arezzo, Italy, 15 minutes before Cole. They were raised in Southern California. The twins began their career at just six months old, in a commercial for toilet paper.

For five TV seasons, 1993-98, Dylan Sprouse and his brother shared the role of Brett Butler's youngest child, Patrick, on the ABC-TV series "Grace Under Fire."

Dylan Sprouse and his brother are most recognized for the role of Julian in Adam Sandler's 1999 blockbuster "Big Daddy." During the month "Big Daddy" was released, their second feature film, "The Astronaut's Wife" starring Johnny Depp and Charlize Theron, was also released.

Subsequently, during the 2000-02 TV season, Dylan Sprouse made numerous appearances on "Friends," portraying Ross's son Ben Geller. Their other shared film credits include "Master of Disguise," "Eight Crazy Nights" and "Piggybanks."

Dylan Sprouse's list of favorites includes science and the color orange. Dylan Sprouse is very close to his brother Cole and they share a great love of animals and video games.

Like his brother, Dylan Sprouse is also a sports enthusiast and especially enjoys motocross, snowboarding, surfing and basketball.
