On FX's "Nip/Tuck," Dylan Walsh portrays "Dr. Sean McNamara," a highly skilled plastic surgeon and a partner in McNamara/Troy, a booming Miami plastic surgery practice. A seemingly conservative family man, Sean has come to realize that his financial success and perfect home can no longer mask the deterioration of his marriage. In Season 4, he faces self-doubt about his life and his surgical abilities as he turns 40.

Most recently, Dylan Walsh starred as the antagonist in The WB's "The Lone Ranger" and had a recurring role on "Everwood." Dylan Walsh also appeared in CBS's "Presidio Med" and "Brooklyn South" and the HBO film "Final Voyage."

Dylan Walsh's feature film credits include "Bloodwork" opposite Clint Eastwood, the action-adventure film "Congo" with Laura Linney, "We Were Soldiers" with Mel Gibson and the critically acclaimed "Nobody's Fool" with Paul Newman.

Born in Los Angeles, Dylan Walsh spent the first 10 years of his life in Africa, India and Indonesia as both of his parents were in the Foreign Service. After his 10th birthday, Dylan Walsh's family settled in Annandale, Virginia, a suburb of Washington, D.C.

Dylan Walsh made his professional acting debut while still in high school, appearing with prestigious theatre companies at the Arena Stage and the Studio Theatre. He was an English major at the University of Virginia, but spent most of his time in the theatre department. During his summers, Dylan Walsh performed with the Heritage Repertory Company, appearing in such classics as "A Midsummer Night's Dream," "Curse of the Starving Class," "Romeo and Juliet," "Death of a Salesman" and "Our Town."
