Édgar Ramírez plays an assassin tracking down Jason Bourne (Matt Damon) in "The Bourne Ultimatum" (2007). Edgar Ramirez is also in the political thriller "Vantage Point" (2007) starring Forest Whitaker, Matthew Fox, Sigourney Weaver, Dennis Quaid, and William Hurt.

Édgar Ramírez first gained recognition as an actor in the Venezuelan soap opera "Cosita Rica," which aired from 2003 to 2004 and lasted 270 episodes. Edgar Ramirez landed his first major feature film role playing Choco, the love interest for the title character played by Keira Knightley, in "Domino" for director Tony Scott.

Édgar Ramírez is the son of a military attache and moved around a lot growing up, becoming fluent in five different languages.  Edgar Ramirez has a degree in journalism.
