Her work in Michelle Leddon's award-winning Columbia University thesis film "Utilities" attracted the attention of Peter Farrelly and earned her a role in "Osmosis Jones," which starred Laurence Fishburne, Chris Rock and David Hyde Pierce.
On television, Franklin has made guest appearances in "The Unit" and "Law & Order: SVU."
