Elizabeth Blackmore stars in "The Vampire Diaries" on The CW as Valerie Tulle.

On television, Elizabeth Blackmore previously played Sister Marianna in "The Legend of the Seeker" and guest-starred in AMC's "Turn: Washington's Spies," The CW's "Beauty and the Beast," and the hit Australian serial "Home and Away."

On the big screen, she starred in the 2013 remake of "Evil Dead," alongside Jane Levy, Shiloh Fernandez and Jessica Lucas, and the independent film "Skin Deep." Blackmore also had a small role in Jonathan Teplitzky's romantic dramedy "Burning Man," alongside Matthew Goode and Rachel Griffiths.

Stage credits include the role of Helena in Black Swan Theatre Company's "A Midsummer Night's Dream," directed by Kate Cherry, and reprised the role in B Sharp's production that was directed by Eamon Flack. Blackmore also played Ursula in Black Swan's "Much Ado About Nothing," also directed by Kate Cherry.

Blackmore graduated from the Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts in 2008.
