Elizabeth Frances stars in "The Son" on AMC as Prairie Flower.

The daughter of a marine corps father, Elizabeth Frances was born on a military base in Okinawa, Japan. Her family eventually settled in San Diego, California, where she began doing local theater at a young age. 

Her father, an American, is of German, British, and Cherokee ancestry, and her mother, a native of San Carlos City, Negros, is Filipina, with Chinese and Spanish ancestry. After receiving her degree from Cal Arts, Frances began her professional career in theater both regionally and in Los Angeles, working with such notable theaters as Center Theater Group, La Jolla Playhouse, Los Angeles Theatre Center, Shakespeare Santa Cruz, Native Voices, and the Kirk Douglas Theatre.

After being selected for ABC Networks' talent showcase, Frances starred as Angela Maryboy in "Drunktown's Finest," which was produced by Robert Redford and premiered at Sundance Film Festival. Since then, she has also appeared in the Emmy-nominated series "Her Story," NBC's "Heartbeat," and as Lilly in Netflix's "Love" from producer Judd Apatow.
