Elizabeth Henstridge stars in "Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D." on ABC as Agent Jemma Simmons.

British actress Elizabeth Henstridge graduating from the University of Birmingham in Drama and Theatre Arts before going on to train at the prestigious East 15 Acting School in London.

She made her television debut in two episodes of the popular long-running UK series "Hollyoaks." She was cast alongside Zachary Abel, Scott Eastwood and Malese Jow in The CW's drama pilot in 2012 for "Shelter," which was not picked up to series.

On the big screen in Britain, she appeared in the horror thriller "The Thompsons" and the crime drama "Tooting Broadway." She will also be seen in the independent drama "Reach Me," starring Sylvester Stallone, Lauren Cohan and Cary Elwes.

On stage, Henstridge performed in "The Stone House," "Othello" and "The Cherry Orchard."

Henstridge enjoys doing gymnastics and riding horses. She also plays the clarinet, piano and drums.
