Elle Macpherson stars as Claudia Foster, the high-powered owner of a successful New York City modeling agency, in The CW's drama  "The Beautiful Life: TBL."

A prominent figure in business, fashion, film and television, Elle Macpherson oversees one of the most well-known and expanding brand names in lingerie, Elle Macpherson Intimates. She recently diversified and created her own body products label, Elle Macpherson The Body. In March 2008 Elle Macpherson signed a three-year global deal with Revlon as an ambassador and spokeswoman.

Elle Macpherson Intimates was created in 1990 with New Zealand-based Bendon Group, featuring co-created designs, and launched in Australia and New Zealand with immediate success. In 2000, Macpherson and Bendon repeated their success by bringing the brand to the UK, where it is available in over 300 stores. In 2003 Elle Macpherson Intimates was launched in the Gulf States, Canada and across the U.S. Macpherson is intimately involved in the creation of each collection, advertising, marketing, and strategy, and appeared in advertising until becoming Creative Director in 2002. Today Elle Macpherson Intimates is one of the most globally recognized fashion lingerie brands. Elle Macpherson The Body, focusing on bath and body products, was launched in Australia and New Zealand in 2008 and will continue to expand globally in late 2009.

Elle Macpherson's career began in 1982 with a commercial for TAB cola that rocketed her into the modeling world as the favorite "Australian girl next door." In 1986, a Time Magazine cover story pronounced her "The Big Elle." Elle Macpherson then appeared on a record six covers of the Sports Illustrated Annual Swimsuit Edition.

Elle Macpherson guest starred in multiple episodes of "Friends" and film credits include Woody Allen's "Alice"; "Sirens," opposite Hugh Grant; "Batman," alongside George Clooney; "The Edge" with Anthony Hopkins; and "The Mirror Has Two Faces" with Barbra Streisand.

Elle Macpherson is the recipient of multiple awards including Fig Leaves' Entrepreneur of the Year Award (UK) 2005, Glamour's Style Icon Award (UK) 2006, Ell's International Style Icon Award (Spain) 2006, Marie Claire's Prix de la Mode 20 Years Business (UK) 2007, Everywoman Outstanding Designer Award (UK) 2007, Femmys Lingerie Designer of the Year Award (USA) 2008 and the World Career Award, (Vienna) 2009.

Elle Macpherson's charity involvement includes European Ambassador for RED, an initiative set up by Bono and Bobby Shriver to raise money and awareness for the Global Fund to help eradicate Aids for women and children in Africa, Ambassador for UNICEF, Ambassador for the Australian children's charity Smile, which supports research into rare childhood diseases. Elle Macpherson also supports the White Ribbon Alliance for Safe Motherhood (UK), an international coalition to ensure that pregnancy and childbirth are safe for all women and newborns in every country around the world.
